With over three decades of experience, Dr. José Carbonell directs the Instituto Carbonell, a leading mental health center in Palma de Mallorca. Trained at the University of Navarra, Harvard University, and the University of London, he is renowned for his specialization in clinical and forensic psychiatry, an area in which he served as president of the Spanish Society of Legal Psychiatry (2019-2023). In addition to his private practice, he is a well-known medical communicator with a digital community of over 280,000 followers; a social impact that has led major newspapers such as La Vanguardia and El Confidencial to publish nearly 100 articles based on his video advice.
