The Carbonell Institute is a Center of medical specialties, formed by a group of professionals specialized in different areas such as psychiatry, psychology and occupational therapy. Since 1961 the Carbonell Institute has been the center of reference in Mallorca for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of mental and behavioral diseases. In the healthcare area, with the experience of several generations of treated patients, at the Carbonell Institute we offer advice to solve problems of any age, whether they are children, adolescents, adults or the elderly. In the educational area, the Carbonell Institute has carried out many courses for doctors, nurses or caregivers. In an outstanding way, to review the recent organization of the XX National Congress of Legal and Forensic Psychiatry 2011. The common objective of this interdisciplinary team is to attend the needs of each case in an individual and personalized way. In order to achieve the best results in our treatments, we work taking into account the medical, psychological and social perspective. Offering comprehensive care aimed at maintaining well-being, preventing mental illness and avoiding relapses. In the constant search for quality to offer a better service, the professionals of the Carbonell Institute have specialized in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment techniques, developing appropriate treatment programs for each age range and pathology.
