Psychology Services

Psychology is the science that deals with the behavior and mental processes of individuals.

Psychology explores concepts such as perception, attention, motivation, emotion, brain function, intelligence, personality, interpersonal relationships, consciousness, and the unconscious. It employs quantitative empirical research methods to analyze behavior.

Our psychology service offers assessment, counseling, treatment, follow-up, and relapse prevention. We tailor each intervention to your needs, and it can be delivered individually, to couples, to families, or in groups.

Psychological therapy helps us to know ourselves in depth and to evolve in those areas that prevent optimal development of the different facets of our lives.

Through exploration, we will try to find the source of your discomfort, its origin, and its persistence—in other words, why it continues to exist. This way, we help you understand exactly what is happening to you, allowing us to address the underlying mechanism that maintains the problem or discomfort.

Dr. Carbonell believes that the best therapy is the one that works best for the patient. Therefore, we work with different psychological approaches, from cognitive behavioral therapies to psychodynamic interventions.
